Why Single Moms First

Stability is the gift you give your kids.

You can't pour from an empty cup. Single moms are doing some of the hardest work in the country with the least scaffolding. PACS exists to put that scaffolding back, in the form of a furnished door, a safe address, and people who don't make you explain yourself.

Whether you're between leases, leaving a tough situation, or just trying to put a real foundation under your family, the program meets you where you are.

Eligibility, Plain

If most of these are true, the next step is a conversation.

You're 18 or older and can live independently.
You have stable income (job, SSI, SSDI, or VA benefits).
You're ready to live respectfully in shared common spaces.
You can complete an interview and orientation.
